The organization is an internationally well-known Security Lab. They are specialized in embedded security testing for leading international clients from the semiconductor, payment, Pay TV, mobile and smart metering industry. As the number of projects is growing steadily, they are looking for a Project Manager to reinforce the organisation.
The job
The organization evaluates ICT security of both hardware and software products. They make a judgment about their security based on formal and informal methodologies. The different products include Integrated Circuits, smart card applications and payment terminals (PED or PIN Entry Device), Host Security Modules (HSM), Switches/router, USB and security modules in cars. They work with international financial companies such as MasterCard and VISA, governments and the developers of ICT products.
The role
As a project manager, you are the linking pin between the customers, the commercial team and the project team performing security evaluations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Arranging, executing and concluding security evaluation projects within time and budget, and at the desired quality level
- Coaching the team of security analysts in the right direction and ensure that the right security evaluations tasks are performed within time.
- Overseeing various testing and evaluation projects simultaneously
- Development and review of project proposals in collaboration with the commercial team
- Planning of resources together with other project managers
- Dealing with escalations and managing them to suitable outcome for both sides (company and client)
- Making project status reports and conduct meetings on risk, progress, issues and recommended solutions with both the team and the client
- Handling the customer communication during the project execution
- Improving the project-approach to specific projects continuously
Your profile
- As a project manager, you have a background in technology, information security or IT and you are used to keeping tabs on the internal processes within a dynamic international environment.
- Academic/ higher professional technical education
- Ability to leading projects with a team of highly technical engineers
- 3-5 years of experience in project management roles or Project Coordinator roles in service orientated business
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player with a focus on results and working in a structured manner.
